Man found shot to death at Baton Rouge apartment complex
One dead after shooting at Lakeside Villa apartments
BATON ROUGE – One person is dead following an overnight shooting at an apartment complex in Baton Rouge.

Around 12:30 a.m., law enforcement responded to the Lakeside Villas Apartments on Weldwood Drive after receiving a call that shots were heard in the area. At the scene, authorities found a 25-year-old Ashton Wells suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near building #2. Wells was pronounced dead at the scene. 

“Rest in peace Blvd Quick. Ill never be able to thank you for what youve done for me, my future, and this channel. Replacement isnt possible.. I saw you just two days ago. Every shoot with you was nothing but fun, and every time we shot a video, wed tell each other that it had to be the one. And this was the one. You just dropped and hit 100k in a day. In my eyes youll forever be missed.”

It happened at the Lakeside Villa apartment complex on Weldwood Drive off Millerville Road after midnight.

Wells was found near building # 2 of the complex at around 12:30 a.m. with gunshot wounds. Police say he died at the scene.

According to reports, Baton Rouge rapper and close affiliate of Fredo Bang and Gee Money, Blvd Quick, was shot and killed in his apartment complex on Sunday night. Police say they found Blvd near a complex building with multiple bullet wounds. The rapper reportedly died on the scene.
