Friends and family members were at the scene, visibly upset. One woman said she spoke with the female victim on the phone not long ago. The female victim’s husband also was at the scene, but he said they had been separated for quite some time. Acquaintances said the woman had children but that they did not live with her.

The discovery was made about 10:24 a.m. at Tom Brown Village at Fifth Court and 41st Place North. Both had been shot.
