At least three people died in a fiery crash on Interstate 20 East near Pell City Friday night, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Three people have been pronounced dead and others were injured in the crash, said Cpl. Steve Smith. Smith did not say how many others were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Expect delays and please seek an alternate route to avoid this area. The cause of this crash remains under investigation and we have no further information at this time.

St. Clair County- State Troopers are working a multi vehicle, fatality crash on I-20 EB at the 158 mile marker. The east bound lanes are shut down at this time and traffic is being re routed around the crash site. Expect delays and seak an alternate route if possible.

State Troopers say a fourth person has died following Friday nights crash on I-20 EB in St. Clair County.

The interstate is shut down eastbound at the crash site and east bound traffic is being re-routed at the Odenville 156 exit.

Three children between the ages of one and two died in the crash, along with 43-year-old Chester Earl Robinson. ALEA says the mother of two of the children survived the crash.

There are at least three confirmed fatalities and others who are injured and have been transported for medical attention.

The St. Clair County deputy coroner identified the children as 11-month-old Queen Phillips, 2-year-old Aiasiah Porter and 1-year-old Neveah Seagin. All of the fatalities where from the same vehicle.

A multi-vehicle crash at the 158 mile marker on Interstate 20 east bound has claimed at least three lives, according to Alabama State Troopers.
