Search underway for 2 Birmingham sisters, ages 12 and 16, missing since Friday
ORIGINAL: The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a missing person investigation on two sisters from Birmingham, 12-year-old Aleila Samone Brown and 16-year-old Starleesha Rachel Brown.

Aleila Brown was last seen Friday around 4:30 p.m. at her grandmothers house in the Crestwood area. She was wearing dark blue jeans and a red shirt with the words I kissed a vampire and I liked it.

Starleesha Brown was last seen Friday morning in the Crestwood area. She was wearing a black shirt and black tights.

BIRMINGHAM — Detectives with the Birmingham Police Department are asking for the public’s help locating two missing girls.

Birmingham police are asking for the publics help finding two young sisters who have been missing for at least 48 hours.

Starleesha Rachel Brown, 16, and Aleila Samone Brown, 12, were last seen Friday at their grandmothers house in the Crestwood area, said Birmingham police spokesman Officer Rod Mauldin.

Starleesha was last known to be wearing a black shirt and black tights. She is 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs 217 pounds.

Aleila is 5-feet tall and weighs 127 pounds. She was last known to be wearing dark blue jeans and a red shirt with the words I kissed a vampire and I liked it.
