No one covers what is happening in our community better than we do. And with a digital subscription, you'll never miss a local story.

… Were transforming our Boise event space into Bobs cartoon burger dive and slinging a slew of Burgers of the Day made with locally raised grass-fed beef. Well be dressed in our Belcher best and handing out prizes for the most creative costumes. Dont have a crap attack, plant-based folks: Well have vegan and vegetarian options, too! No tickets necessary, just show up ready to get down in burger town! Stay tuned for the full menu!

Ah, yes — the menu. Remember the Best Burger episode in Season 5? Might I suggest going big with Bobs Bet It All on Black Garlic Burger, Jimmy Pestos Oregano Burger and Skip Marooshs Pomegranate Green Chili Chutney Burger?

With or without those culinary masterpieces, this pop-up is destined to be entertaining. Especially seeing Boiseans dress up as Bob, his wife Linda, or the kids — Tina, Gene and Louise.

Wild Plum isnt the first to attempt a Bobs Burgers pop-up. Lets just hope its not quite as popular as one held last year at Chefs Club Counter in New York City. Eater NYC reported waits of at least an hour, also noting restaurant prices higher than the $5.95 chalkboard burgers on the TV show. (Expect to pay more in Boise, too. Its local grass-fed beef, people!)

If youre smart, youll get your Tina costume perfected in time for Halloween, then recycle it two nights later at Wild Plum. Even if all the Bobs in the place keep holding their heads and yelling OH MY GAWD! at you.

The show does so many things well, including being consistently funny, heartwarming when it needs to be, and remaining creative enough to keep fans guessing.

Considering how worthy of praise Bobs Burgers truly is, it is a pretty massive shame that the show is not among the most celebrated and watched shows on television. That said, its slightly under-the-radar run has given the series a little bit of a cultish feel, even though it is viewed by millions every week. Fortunately for fans who want to feel like they have a deeper connection to the Belcher family and their exploits, there are many fascinating facts about the series are not yet widely known.

In order for a piece of information to be considered for possible inclusion in this list, it must, first and foremost, relate to the animated show Bobs Burgers in one way or another. On top of that, something about it needs to be astonishing enough that it is amazing when you really think about it, even if you were aware of it in the past. Of course, it should be noted that every persons knowledge base is different, so huge fans may be aware of some things to come.
