Texans RB Lamar Miller set to return against Bills
The Texans won a hard-fought 19-16 overtime win against the Cowboys on Sunday with a valiant effort by franchise quarterback Deshaun Watson who was beaten up on the day taking a slew of hard hits.Watson also ran the ball 10 times as he tried to make up for the lack of running game by his team. During the contest, he was in the medical tent being evaluated with all the punishing blows he was taking by the Cowboys. He finished going 33-for-44 for 375 yards with a touchdown, an interception, and 40 rushing yards. The second-year pro is currently dealing with a chest injury this week that is currently labeled as day-to-day.However, Watson is pretty optimistic he will be able to play heading into Week 6 action against the Bills despite being very sore.”I feel good,” Watson said via the Houston Chonicle. “I feel great.”He was listed as a limited participant in Wednesdays practice. For the season, he has completed 125-of-192 passes for 1,621 yards with 8 passing touchdowns and five interceptions for a QB rating of 94.6.QB Deshaun Watson is listed as a limited participant in practice with a chest injury. pic.twitter.com/DPJ1A4wxXa

Houston takes on the Buffalo Bills in Week 6 at NRG Stadium. The Bills are ranked 28th, the worst 2-3 team on the list. If Houston evens up its record to 3-3 with a win, given this week’s opponent, it may not improve its ranking by much.

Not only are the Texans knocking on the door to average in the league, but they are the second-best 2-3 team on the list. The only 2-3 team ranked higher than Houston in the poll are the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

It was a strange feeling for Texans veteran running back Lamar Miller on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

“Yes, I was close,” Miller said. “They just used me for emergency reasons. They told me to just take a week off and I would be ready when we play the Bills.

“It was kind of weird. You have your moments when you want to get in the game and compete with your brother. At the same time, I do whatever is best for the team. I feel good.”
