CHANDLER, Ariz. (KSAZ) – The Chandler Police Department is investigating a homicide at an apartment complex in the area of Ray and Price Roads.

Police say just after midnight officers responded to the apartments for a report of shots fired. While officers were on their way, a second call came in from a man saying he shot another man.

A 26-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were shot at 2:02 a.m. in a parking lot outside an apartment complex in the 13700 block of South Lamon, according to Crestwood police.

Officers arrived to the apartment and located the caller and the man shot. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
