Man wanted in Memphis on 21 sex charges arrested in Chattanooga – WRCB-TV

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said the FBI Field Office in Memphis and the Memphis Police Department asked for help arresting Lawann Demetrius Scott.

With the help of the Chattanooga Police Department Fugitive Division and the United States Marshall Service, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team arrested Scott in the 3500 block of Dayton Boulevard.

Scott is being held at the Hamilton County Jail waiting to be transported to the Shelby County Jail in Memphis.

The Hamilton County Sheriffs Office (HCSO) assisted in the capture of a wanted fugitive facing more than a dozen charges related to child sex crimes. The HCSO says the crimes happened in Memphis.

On Thursday, HCSO, U.S. Marshals, and Chattanooga Police arrested Lawann Demetrius Scott in the 3500 block of Dayton Boulevard.

Scott is currently being held at the Hamilton County Jail and is awaiting transport to Shelby County Jail in Memphis.
