“I’m not retiring,” Osbourne told the Rolling Stone in February. “It’s ‘No More Tours,’ so I’m just not doing world tours anymore. I’m still going to be doing gigs, but I’m not going on tour for six months at a time anymore. I’d like to spend some time at home.”

OZZY OSBOURNE Postpones San Diego And Los Angeles Shows After Undergoing Hand Surgery

Ozzy Osbourne has postponed two additional shows following his surgery over the weekend for an infected hand. He made the decision to delay his return to the stage after further consultations with his doctors at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, who have advised that he take a few extra days to recover.

The 69-year-old singer announced on Instagram he was hospitalized for an infection that later required hand surgery. Osbourne was scheduled to perform at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., for his “No More Tours 2.”

The two concerts — Tuesday, October 9 at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre in Chula Vista and Thursday, October 11 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles — will be rescheduled as follows: Monday, October 15 in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl and Thursday, October 18 in Chula Vista (San Diego) at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre. In addition, the Mountain View, California show at Shoreline Amphitheatre, which was previously rescheduled for Tuesday, October 16, has been moved to Saturday, October 20.

Ozzys North American “No More Tours 2”, produced by Live Nation, will resume in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. STONE SOUR will perform at the Las Vegas show, with support for the three rescheduled shows to be announced. Ticketholders for all the postponed shows should hold on to their tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds are also available at point of purchase.

Osbourne posted a photo of himself in the hospital bed in Los Angeles eating ice cream while his right arm is bandaged up.

“No More Tours 2” is a reference to Ozzys 1992 “No More Tours” trek, which marked the first time the singer announced the end of his days as a touring artist. The tour name was a pun based on the title of his then-most recent solo album, “No More Tears”. Ozzy returned to action three years later and has been on the road ever since.

Osbourne postponed the Mountain View concert until Oct. 16. The tour is expected to resume on Oct. 9 in Chula Vista.

Last year, Ozzy reunited with guitarist Zakk Wylde, who played on studio albums such as “No Rest For The Wicked”, “No More Tears” and “Ozzmosis” and who has toured on and off with Ozzy for nearly thirty years.

I cant wait to get out of here tomorrow, thank you to all of the wonderful Doctors and Nurses taking care of…
