Police looking for hit-and-run driver after man struck in Durham
Durham, N.C. — Durham police were searching for a driver after a 55-year-old man was struck by a car and badly injured Saturday night.

The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. According to officers, Manuel Sanchez, 55, was walking along Holloway Street, just east of U.S. Highway 70, when he was struck in the right side by the left front corner of a dark gray sedan.

Man suffers life-threatening injuries in Durham pedestrian crash

Police are searching for the dark gray sedan, which should be missing the drivers side headlight and turn signal. The suspects car also appears to have had previous body work due to the evidence found on scene, police said.
