Car crashes into Fayetteville coffee shop
Multiple injuries were reported Friday morning after a vehicle crashed into Baba Boudan’s coffee shop on North College Avenue in Fayetteville.

Reports of the accident were posted to social media at around 11:20 a.m. including photos of a large hole in the south side of the shop.

Fayetteville police confirmed the incident on Facebook at about 11:45 a.m. with a separate photo showing multiple emergency crews parked along the road in front of the shop.

Police Sgt. Anthony Murphy told reporters that at least five people were injured in the crash, including two who are in critical condition.

Reports suggest a “medical event” could’ve caused the driver to veer off the roadway, but there has been no confirmation of the cause.
