Man killed in crash after failing to stop at stop sign, Rock County Sheriff says
ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV)— Authorities have identified an 85-year-old man who died after a two-vehicle crash in Rock County on Tuesday.

The Rock County Medical Examiners Office said Donald A. Mosser of Fontana was transported from the scene to a local hospital where he died shortly after arrival. Preliminary results of an autopsy confirm Mossers death was the result of injuries he sustained in the crash.

The Rock County Sheriffs Office said the crash happened at the intersection of State Highway 14 and County Highway C in the Town of Bradford. It was reported to authorities around 1:40 p.m. A sergeant said the investigation shows a 2007 Mercury Milan, driven by Mosser, went through a stop sign at East State Highway 11/14 while driving on County Highway C.

When he was in the intersection, a 76-year-old man hit him. His wife was also in the car. The impact of that crash pushed both cars onto a vacant business lot near the intersection.

The Sheriffs Department says all three people were wearing seat belts before the crash. It says no citations or arrests will likely come out of this incident.
