Man Shot Inside Car Outside Garland Business, Police Search for Suspects
Garland police are investigating a shooting that left a man critically wounded Saturday morning.

The victim was found about 4:45 a.m. inside a black Lexus parked outside a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Highway, near Interstate 635.

Police had not identified a suspect but did recover video of the getaway car, a light-colored Toyota pickup with damage to its rear bumper.

Investigators believe multiple suspects were in the pickup as it fled west on LBJ Freeway after the shooting.

An early morning shooting in a Garland parking lot off of Northwest Highway led to one man being sent to a hospital with critical injuries, Garland police said.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Northwest Highway about 4:45 a.m. Saturday for a report of a man shot, police said. They found a man inside a black Lexus with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

Police released video of what was believed to be the assailants vehicle immediately after the shooting.

Police said multiple assailants were possibly in a Toyota pickup truck, driving from Northwest Highway onto westbound lanes of LBJ Freeway.
