GRAND RAPIDS, MI — An early morning police chase resulted in a crash with injuries near the border of Grand Rapids and Kentwood.

The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, when Kent County sheriffs deputies began pursuing a stolen vehicle.

Police confirmed the chase ended when the driver of the stolen vehicle crashed into a pole near the corner of 28th Street and East Beltline Avenue in Grand Rapids.

Three people in the fleeing vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash. Two of the occupants were arrested.
