Dispatch confirms with us that just after 7 a.m. at Lake Michigan Drive NW near Thomas street, two cars crashed. 35-year-old Rogelio Mireles was driving east on Lake Michigan Drive when he suddenly veered over the center lane into oncoming traffic.
Michelle Weaver, 22, was driving west on Lake Michigan drive when she was struck by Rogelio’s car.
It is unknown at this time if speed or alcohol played a factor in the crash. This incident remains under investigation.
