Grand Rapids police said the two men were arrested for misdemeanor assault and taken to the Kent County Jail following the 1:30 a.m. incident at The Web Bar.
Bath Township police confirmed the officers are Bryan Miller, 34, and Payton Warner, 25, who were in Grand Rapids for a training exercise. Both officers are on administrative leave as an investigation is conducted.

The two men got into an altercation with an employee that eventually included bar patrons, Grand Rapids police Sgt. John Wittkowski said. Investigators determined the officers assaulted the employee and others during the incident, he said.
Miller was charged with creating a disturbance in a public place. No charges appeared to have been filed as of Thursday morning for Warner.

Bath Township police Lt. Gary Smith said his department has begun an internal investigation but hadnt talked with the officers as of Wednesday afternoon.
