Shipt debuts Target same-day delivery for Huntsville members

AUSTIN, Texas — Target and Shipt are teaming up to bring people living in metro areas of Texas same-day delivery.

Beginning, Feb. 15, the service will launch in Austin, College Station, Corpus Christi, Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, greater Houston, Killeen, Temple, and greater San Antonio.

You can order your items through the Shipt app and have your groceries delivered to you in as little as an hour. The app usually has an annual $99 fee, but in celebration of the Target addition, they've marked down their once-a-year fee to $49.

The service is also coming to cities in Oklahoma and Arizona and will be available to more than 8.5 million people.

Starting on February 15, you can order groceries from Target through the delivery service Shipt and have them delivered to your front door.

Target plans to eventually offer same-day delivery on groceries, essentials, home, electronics and other products from approximately half of stores by early 2018. The majority of Target stores will offer the service by the 2018 holiday season, and by the end of 2019, same-day delivery will include all major product categories at Target.

Target to offer same-day delivery; shoppers needed

AUSTIN – Target lovers will soon be able to get their Target goodies delivered to their homes in one hour starting Feb. 15 thanks to a new partnership.

Shipt and Target have teamed up to launch a same-day grocery delivery service across the Southwest. This partnership will allow more than 8.5 million households the ability to access the delivery service from Target to their homes in less than a one hour. 

Shipt is a membership-based online grocery delivery service that allows customers to pick their groceries from home and have them delivered by a Shipt shopper the same day.
