We saw on Tuesday that the Penguins released their new third jerseys for the upcoming season.

Wednesday night, the Wheeling Nailers, the Penguins ECHL affiliate, dropped some photos showing off the new threads of their own.

Personally, I am a huge fan of these. I wish the logo were a little but bigger itself, but how can you not LOVE the goalie mask in the center of it in black and gold? It looks beyond incredible.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled goaltender Tristan Jarry on an emergency basis from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Jarry, 23, played in 26 NHL games last season for Pittsburgh, going 14-6-2. His 14 victories led all NHL rookies.

The Penguins conclude a three-game season-opening homestand by welcoming the Vegas Golden Knights to PPG Paints Arena tonight at 7:00 PM. Fans can watch the game on AT&T SportsNet or listen to the radio broadcast on 105.9 The X.
