Police said Candy Dean, 54, walked from a care facility on Hammill Lane west of the Meadowood Mall area. Police and Washoe County Sheriffs Office Search and Rescue are looking for her in the area.
Dean has several medical problems that limit her mobility and would cause her to fall, police say. She may seem confused or disoriented and would be unlikely to talk to people.
Police describe her as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and skinny, with black hair in a pony tail, a pink-purplish long-sleeve shirt, and black-and-white pajama bottoms; she was carrying a pink and white multi-colored twin-size blanket and a tan purse.
Missing woman was found safe. The Reno Police Department appreciates the assistance of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue and the public in locating the woman.
