Bradley Thomas Woss is being sought in connection to the shooting that took place around 9:45 p.m. at the Parkview Terrace apartments at 1601 Barton Road near Alabama Street, according to Redlands police.
Investigation underway after woman found dead in Redlands apartment
The victim is a 31-year-old woman, however, she had not been identified as of 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The woman and Woss knew each other, according to Redlands spokesman Carl Baker.
Woss is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, according to a police news release.
No additional information is being released at this time, Baker wrote in an email.
Neighbor Michael Saldivar said his family and he were getting ready for bed when they heard the shots.
“I heard her little boy crying loud,” he said. “A firefighter was holding him.”
This marks the second homicide in the city this year following the shooting death of 47-year-old Santos Bonilla at Sylvan Park on Sunday, Jan. 14.
Three people have been arrested in that incident, which police believe stemmed from a botched robbery.
Woss “is known to own several firearms and is considered to be armed and dangerous,” the police statement said. If seen, they ask people to call 911 immediately.
