SANTA ANA — A 19-year-old man was found unresponsive with at least one bullet wound Monday, Nov. 5 on the front law of a house near Warner Avenue and Flower Street, police said.

Officers found him at about 1:10 a.m., according to the Santa Ana Police Department, at the house in the 2300 block of Ramona Drive. A short time later, he died.

Officers arriving at 1:10 a.m. at 2329 South Ramona Dr. found the man lying in the front yard with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, Santa Ana police Sgt. Mauricio Estrada said.

Police asked that anyone with information call detectives at 714-245-8390. Anonymous tips can be made to the Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS. The case may be eligible for the city’s Gang Homicide Reward Program.

SANTA ANA (CBSLA) — An investigation is underway Monday at a Santa Ana neighborhood, where a man was found shot to death in a front yard.

The shooting was reported just after 1 a.m. in the 2300 block of South Ramona Drive. Arriving officers found the 19-year-old man lying in front of a house, shot repeatedly in the chest.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identification is pending the coroner’s investigation.
