The woman and three children were pulled from the vehicle after it went off the road into the duck pond on Shreveport-Barksdale Highway and East Kings Highway.
Shreveport fire officials say three vehicles were involved in an accident causing one of them to lose control and go into the duck pond behind Super 1 Foods on East Kings.
Officials say the three children were pulled out of the water and are expected to be okay. The woman was unconscious and was rushed to LSU Health where she died.

Megan Victoria Brown was identified by family members at University Health, where an autopsy has been authorized to determine how and why she and her vehicle went into the body of water at around 6:43 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2018. The accident occurred on East Kings Highway between Archer and Albany avenues, near Shreveport-Barksdale Highway.
UPDATE 3/12/18 9:19 PM: Shreveport police have confirmed to us that the female driving a car that crashed into the duck pond has died.
Three vehicles were involved in an accident at East Kings Hwy and Shreveport-Barksdale Hwy at around 6:40 pm this evening. The crash sent one car into the duck pond with four people inside. The car was completely submerged, one adult and three children managed to escape.
Two people from the accident were taken to University Health one with life-threatening injuries the other with minor injuries.
