California authorities launched a dragnet Monday for an inmate with a distinctive skull-face tattoo who vanished from a work crew.“There is no excuse whatsoever for men to harass women in an abusive sexual manner.”

The crew driver noticed at approximately 1:30 p.m that 27-year-old Corey Hughes was missing and notified dispatch, according to a Facebook post from the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s office.

The Honor Farm, located south of Stockton, is a minimum-security facility that houses pretrial or sentence inmates that are usually low-risk and classified as non-violent, KCBS reported.

The driver of the work crew notified authorities around 1:30 p.m. Monday of his disappearance. Hughes was last seen near Interstate 5 and Country Club Boulevard.The Sheriff’s Office said Hughes was sentenced on a weapons charged and was housed in the Honor Farm jail. His release date is scheduled for Feb. 2, 2018.
