MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) – Pinellas detectives have charged the manager of Kohr Family Frozen Custard with lewd and lascivious molestation and simple battery after they say he had inappropriate sexual contact with four female employees, all of whom are minors.

The sheriff’s office said the crimes occurred from April 7 to July 20 at the business located at 128321 Village Blvd in Madeira Beach.

Detectives with the Pinellas County Sheriffs Office said a female teenaged employee told deputies her manager at Kohr Family Frozen Custard, Leonardo Arellano Ramos, 62, touched her buttocks and breasts over her clothes on multiple occasions, according to a news release.

According to detectives, one of the victims reported to deputies she was the victim of inappropriate sexual contact on July 28.

One of the complaints listed in the release also alleged Ramos kissed a girls neck and sucked on her ear while not allowing her to go free, according to the sheriffs office. All of the victims were between 14 and 17 years old.

She told detectives Leonardo Ramos, 62, who was her manager at the shop, had grabbed her buttocks and breasts on the outside of her clothing on multiple occasions.

Detectives said they were able to confirm the allegations through various investigative techniques and charged Ramos with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and two counts of simple battery.

Detectives interviewed three other female employees, ages 14, 15 and 17, who reported similar criminal acts committed by Ramos.

Three other teenaged girls who worked at the shop also told detectives about repeated similar incidents involving Ramos between April 7 and July 20 at the custard shop, authorities said.

The acts included Ramos reportedly grabbing the victims’ buttocks, placing his hands under the victims’ shirt and on the victims’ bra and breast.

Ramos, of St. Petersburg, was interviewed by detectives about the allegations on Monday and admitted to patting the victims buttocks, according to the sheriffs office.

One of the complaints included Ramos kissing a victim’s neck and sucking on her ear while not allowing her to go free.

A 62-year-old Madeira Beach custard shop manager was arrested Monday and faces multiple charges after deputies say he molested four teenage girls who worked there.

Ramos is charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and two counts of simple battery.

He was taken to the Pinellas County jail without incident. He has since been released on $21,000 bond, jail records show.

Police arrested 62-year-old Leonardo Arellano Ramos, who was a manager at Kohr Family Frozen Custard, located at 12831 Village Boulevard in Madeira Beach. Detectives said the victims were ages: 14, 15 and 17.

Detectives said one victim reported Ramos grabbed her buttocks and breasts on multiple occasions. They said the other three victims reported similar acts between April 7 and July 20. One complaint included Ramos kissing a victim’s neck and sucking her ear.

On Monday, detectives said Ramos admitted to “patting the victims’ buttocks.” He was arrested and faces molestation and battery charges.
