On Jan. 8, 2018, Freeman’s sister told a Tallahassee Police Department officer that Freeman’s two children had been staying with her because Freeman was homeless and she feared Freeman was a threat to the children.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – A Tallahassee woman arrested previously for striking a child with a cord on or about the face has been rearrested for aggravated child abuse.

Freeman had been arrested for child abuse in November 2017 after one of her children accidentally cracked the windshield on a car and Freeman had struck him in the face with a phone charger.
