Police launch investigation after Antifa activists descend on Fox host Tucker Carlson\s home
You are not safe: Protesters sieged Fox News host Tucker Carlsons Washington home in the middle of the night
A group of protesters sieged the home of the Fox News host Tucker Carlson and his family on Wednesday night, ringing his doorbell and chanting threatening messages.

A YouTube video of the event that originated on the now-suspended Twitter page Smash Racism DC is poorly lit, but a lead protester calls Carlson a racist and a fascist before breaking into threatening chants.

In a separate video, posted by the Daily Caller reporter Benny Johnson on Twitter, the group seems to threaten Carlsons family, telling the Fox News host he is “not safe.”

This is not a protest. It is not free speech. These are not activists. These are terrorists engaged in an organized campaign to harass and threaten their political enemies. And this is far from the first case we have seen. Weve seen them shut down whole city blocks, assaulting innocent bystanders and vandalizing property. Weve seen them swarm politicians and chase them out of restaurants. Weve seen them riot in stupid ski masks, wielding baseball bats and clubs. Theres a reason the Department of Homeland Security considers them domestic terrorists. This is politically-motivated violence, incitement, and harassment. Thats what terrorism is, by definition.

Carlson later told Fox News that his wife was home alone at the time, but that he was at Fox News studios in Washington preparing his show.

A Twitter account associated with the group posted this message: “Racist scumbag, leave town! Every night you spread fear into our homes—fear of the other, fear of us, and fear of them. Each night you tell us we are not safe. Tonight youre reminded that we have a voice. Tonight, we remind you that you are not safe either.” The group also posted the names and addresses of Carlsons brother and friend.

They were threatening me and my family: Tucker Carlsons home targeted by protesters

“Heres the problem: I have four children,” Fox News quoted Carlson as saying. “I never thought twice about leaving them home alone, but this is the reaction because this group doesnt like my TV show.”

We are now hearing more details about the Antifa “demonstration” at Tucker Carlsons house in Washington, D.C. last night. A mob of about 20 left-wing thugs came onto Carlsons property when his wife was home, began banging on his door, managing to crack it in the process, shouting, “We know where you sleep at night.” Someone in the crowd could be heard saying something about a pipe bomb.

In a joint statement, Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and network president Jay Wallace called the incident “reprehensible.”

“The violent threats and intimidation tactics toward him and his family are completely unacceptable. We as a nation have become far too intolerant of different points of view,” they said. “Recent events across our country clearly highlight the need for a more civil, respectful, and inclusive national conversation. Those of us in the media and in politics bear a special obligation to all Americans, to find common ground.”

Employing the new and improved Brown Shirts, the Antifa, is message that must be sent to anyone and everyone who is not politically correct. It is only through threats and violence can the opponents of progressive totalitarianism be subdued in order usher in the coveted peoples revolution. This ploy worked well with Hitler and Lenin, and we all know what wonderful, delightful and humane societies they produced, and lets face it. These wonderful people, who take the time and trouble to punch, yell, scream, bang drums, blow whistles, blow up cars, start riots and physically harass the doubters and dissenters are doing Gods (The State) work, and they and should be encouraged instead of disparaged. Indeed, we should all thank and encourage these new Brown Shirts for taking the concept of peace, tolerance, acceptance and love to a new level because it is only through violence, intimidation and persecution can we show the world how America has evolved politically. So instead of condemning and kicking the Antifa Brown Shirts in the groin ten or twenty times, raise your right hand as Hitler would have to show your support of them and their actions.

Protesters Surround Carlsons Home, Chant We Know Where You Sleep At Night!

Smash Racism DC, the group that first posted the video on Twitter, claimed responsibility for chasing Sen. Ted Cruz out of a Washington restaurant in September by chanting “We believe survivors” during Brett Kavanaughs Supreme Court confirmation hearings.

Here again we see “alt-right” being used as the ultimate weasel word. From what I have seen, absolutely no one in the online crowds that the users of that subreddit travel in would use “alt-right” to mean anything but ethno-identitarians of some sort. This is the rather specific way its used in those crowds–not whatever broad sense it may have been used, nor the broad “whomever we feel like insulting” sense the prog media uses it. So to suggest that adopting cultural conservatism or cultural nationalism like being for closed borders, or wanting to defend European culture, or being protectionist–well you might say any or all of those things are wrong, or are not libertarian, or even morally repugnant, whatever. But to say that libertarians got “infected” with them mostly through alt-right influence is factually ludicrous. And to say that adopting them makes you identical to the alt-right is insane.

Business Insider previously reported Carlsons saying he was regularly heckled in Washington restaurants. “Having someone scream, F— you! at a restaurant, it just wrecks your meal,” he said during the National Review podcast “The Jamie Weinstein Show” in October.

My advice to everybody: stop watching cable network news programs. CBS, NBC, and ABC news are easy to let go of too. The News Hour on PBS used to be somewhat reasonable – but I have not watched it years. I just find TV to be a waste of time for the most part. I cut the cable 14 years ago. If I want to watch March Madness or perhaps the Super Bowl or the Olympics, I get fine reception with my “rabbit ears” antenna. Other than that, I stick with streaming on NetFlix and Amazon Prime – on my schedule. Commercials? Dont miss them in the least. As far as news consumption goes, the internet is fine. I just sample Reason, NRO, The Atlantic, The Nation, and some of the Real Clear sites. Oh, almost forgot, I read the WSJ too, but thats mostly due to my profession (financial advisor) and my local newspaper.

Smash Racism DC told Business Insider: “White supremacy should have no home. Fascist pundits who promote violence deserve no peace.”

"Every night you spread fear into our homes—fear of the other, fear of us, and fear of them. Each night you tell us we are not safe. Tonight youre reminded that we have a voice," read a Wednesday tweet by "Smash Racism DC." Moments earlier, the wife of Fox News host Tucker Carlson saw protesters surrounded her house, leading her to believe they were going to break down her door.

"I called my wife. She had been in the kitchen alone getting ready to go to dinner and she heard pounding on the front door and screaming. … Someone started throwing himself against the front door and actually cracked the front door," Carlson told The Washington Post, describing the events that began to unfold less than two hours before his program aired that evening.

Carlson claimed that the protesters had blocked off both sides of the street and brandished signs that listed his home address. In one of the videos, a woman describes how she wants to bring a pipe bomb to Carlson's house. Other protesters can be heard yelling that he needs to leave town and one shouted into a bullhorn that "We want you to know, we know where you sleep at night." He then led the group to chant, "Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night!"

It wasnt a protest. It was a threat, Carlson, who is often criticized for his inflammatory rhetoric, especially about immigrants and minorities, told the Post. They werent protesting anything specific that I had said. They werent asking me to change anything. They werent protesting a policy or advocating for legislation. … They were threatening me and my family and telling me to leave my own neighborhood in the city that I grew up in.

As Carlson emphasized to the Post, this went beyond traditional protests which identify specific policies that they oppose or support. The message here was that Carlson and his family weren't physically safe. Although Carlson has children, none of them were home when the incident occurred.

After one of the protesters slammed into the front door of Carlson’s home — causing it to crack — Carlson’s wife Susan Carlson locked herself in the kitchen pantry and called police, the Fox News personality told the Post. Carlson’s wife was home by herself at the time, as Carlson prepped for his 8 p.m. show. Police told the Post that about 20 people surrounded the home.

"It wasnt a protest. It was a threat. They werent protesting anything specific that I had said. They werent asking me to change anything. They werent protesting a policy or advocating for legislation. … They were threatening me and my family and telling me to leave my own neighborhood in the city that I grew up in," Carlson told The Post.

A group of protesters reportedly affiliated with the anti-fascist group Smash Racism D.C. surrounded the home of Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday night and shouted threatening messages, according to The Washington Post, which reviewed since-deleted videos and social media posts of the incident.

On Twitter, Smash Racism DC accused Carlson of spreading fear into our homes every night, taking particular issue with his comments about the migrant caravan.

Tonight youre reminded that we have a voice, a now-deleted tweet read. Tonight, we remind you that you are not safe either.
