(CNN)Celebrities were among those who had to flee their homes as wildfires raged through California late Thursday and into Friday.

Kim Kardashian was given less than an hour to evacuate her home after a California wildfire erupted in her Hidden Hills neighborhood. The reality star originally filmed the fire from her private plane:

The fire broke out in the Hill Canyon area in the south of the state on Thursday and is said to have spread across 7,000 acres of land according to Ventura County Fire Department.

She immediately evacuated upon arrival, sharing on Instagram Stories “Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe.”

The county is also battling a separate blaze, the Woolsey Fire, that ripped across thousands of acres of Ventura and Los Angeles counties early Friday. The blaze is threatening some 30,000 homes, prompting mandatory evacuations of the affected areas: Among them was Kim Kardashian, who posted footage from the evacuation of her Calabasas neighborhood to social media.
